T-shirts are just plain cool…. and a staple of running races. They are great momentos that we all wear proudly for years and years, giving us the ability to show off to all our family and friends.
Well at the 2012 St. Mike’s 5k Turkey Trot we have an absolutely amazing t-shirt that we will be giving to all racers as well as making available to all those non-racers who would like to show support for St. Michael’s School. When you purchase the shirt you are not just buying the actual shirt; you are instead investing in the many young children who attend St. Michael’s School. And it should be noted that these shirts are Gym Class and Friday Uniform Approved for all St. Michael’s School students.
Before I reveal the winning Logo and give you all the details on how you can get your hands on one of these shirts, I want to briefly tell you how the logo was created and by whom!
When the committee was deciding what the logo should be one idea stood out among the rest. HAVE A STUDENT CREATE IT! And that is what we did! Every St. Mike’s student had the opportunity to draw a t-shirt logo. Once all the designs were in (and there were a lot of them!) a winner was chosen. So without further ado, here is the 2012 St. Mike’s Turkey Trot Logo with the winner showing it off! Congrats Maddie!!
HOW DO YOU GET ONE?
- Register for the race and a long sleeve t-shirt with the Design shown above is included. - If you’re not running and would like a shirt you can download the order form here –>Turkey Trot Tee Order Form and drop it off with payment at one of the following locations in Penn Yan (Finger Lakes Realty, Curbeau Realty or Stork Insurance.) So fill out the form and then drop it off, it’s as easy as that…your shirt will either be delivered to you or will be available for pickup on race day or before at Stork Insurance Packet Pick-Up. (If unable to drop the form off at the specific locations please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will take care of you!)
- We will have some extra’s at pre-race packet pickup/late registration which will be held on Wednesday, November 21st, 2012 at Stork Insurance on main street. Packet pickup hours will be announced as the race get’s closer.
